Summit Task Forces are segmented into four key areas that will focus on the current funding and infrastructure crisis in cancer clinical trials.  Each Task Force will also be asked to keep perspective on any legislative or communications components that could be incorporated into their individual activities.  Additional information on the Summit’s partnership with the Cancer Leadership Council on legislative issues of interest will be distributed in the near future.

Task Force 1: Clinical Trials: Answering Questions
Strategically reaches the public and patients with targeted messages about the funding and infrastructure crisis.

Task Force 3: Publications and Presentations
Publishes and presents work group outcomes/efforts with academic-based venues/outlets to educate and call attention to the Summit’s goals and actions.

Task Force 4: Metrics and Measurements
Compiles information regarding the impact of the funding and infrastructure crisis on all communities, from reduced funding numbers, projected provider shortages and site closings to the limits placed on access to care.
